No Fear

Lean back Lean Back Lean Back..... a pHrase heard daily in Bikrams class...or a standard rap track haha....learning to trust yourself....can be just as hard as learning to forgive yourself but both very important factors in building a healthy life for yourself, you are your own saviour! So today was class 13!! Im feeling great, Went from Day One...feeling overexerted, nausous, dizzy, stiff, dehydrated(I DRANK A LITRE OF H2O my first day in class!!) to now 13 days later feeling energized, focused, flexible, strong, and hydrated!!! what a turn around! today i did not even need a sip of water! Im a little sore, but thats totally normal when your taking your body to a new place!
Ive encouraged newcomers to try out the studio and have heard nothing but great things, so Im so excited for Lyndsay at Bikram Yoga Calgary South www.bikramcalgarysouth.com for building this studio and watching it be a success in such a short amount of time, prime example of no fear! just have an ambition and make it happen!

On a Musical Note.....Boy & GurL have recieved their very first music grant for recording their upcoming album!!!!! This is so exciting and we are very grateful to RAWLCO RADIO for supporting our musical endevours!!! This Sunday we begin tracking the drums for the album thats yet to be named!! Its like naming a baby....I feel like I wont know the right name for it until we see it complete!! Actually putting out a record is exactly like having a baby...you need to give it your full attention and put all the proper steps into making it successful.....kids dont learn how to talk overnight....just like records dont sell without a plan!!! haha

My hair is begining to turn red....or maybe its the green scarf Im wearing making me see red...to remind me that christmas is like right around the corner!!!!!! Boy & GurL are presenting the 2nd anual Rock the Kettle event at the Blind Beggar, featuring a group of very talented musical guests to be announced....with ALL PROCEEDS going towards the SALVATION ARMY! ;) we are also walking in the Merry Mile Parade, which takes place on Dec.5.2009 in Bankers Hall....and performing at the Santa Shuffle in Eau Claire Market in support of the Salvation Army...Im sure we will be around town serenading the malls with christmas tunes and sneak peaks of songs from our upcoming album sooo keep your ears tuned in ;)
