CRYSTAL MCGRATH


Crystal McGrath, the sensational singer/songwriter from Calgary, Alberta-Canada is fast becoming a household name in the music industry. With her beautiful

vocals and the natural glowof her personality, she has been conquering the stage and gaining popularity. In 2006 she worked with Winston on producing her

debut record titled I. She then went on to creating her own record label Blurrrr Records to release "I" in June 2007, which featured 10 self written tracks.

Performing in venues of all sizes worldwide, Crystal has developed into a true star. She has performed in some of the same venues as Sheryl Crow, John Mayer

and many other greats in the music industry. Some of her highlighted shows include the FOX Theatre in Atlanta, and her red carpet album release party at

Andrews Upstairs in Atlanta covered by In the Mix and Fox5. Dedicating her life to serve those in need, Crystal has joined forces with the well-recognized

American Foundation, Toys For Tots as an Official Spokesperson. As a performer, spokes person and volunteer, Crystal touched the lives of many all through

the holiday season. In 2006, Crystal wrote a song to be used as a tool to help those in need. The song “Christmas Everyday” was written to benefit Toys For

Tots and is a holiday song that will be with us forever. The 2008 Holiday season was spent dedicating her time to the Calgary based Salvation Army, performing

at various events, as well as putting together a benefit concert bringing local musicians together to raise awareness and proceeds to go to the Christmas Kettle

Campaign. Crystal has recorded the song “Life can be beautiful again” dedicated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, which will be featured on her

upcoming self titled album.Discovering her own voice and letting it shine without trying to conform to other female contemporaries, she has stayed true to her

creative convictions. Experiencing travel during her youth, and relocating to various cities for her career after graduating high school, Crystal has had no fear in

taking on challenges wherever they may come from. Crystal has resided in Australia where she brought her guitar to experience life and write music, Vancouver

BC, where she recorded her album, then moving to Atlanta GA in late 2006 to pursue her career endeavors. She has signed a National distribution deal with

ICON/KOCH for her self titled album. Early 2009, Crystal  teamed up with singer/songwriter Jarred Nicklen to form the pop/rock  duo "Boy & GurL" they have

released their debut EP "Loves Parallel" in April 2009 and have recorded their full length album "LOVE CRIMES" with producer Russell Broom(Jann Arden) to be

released in September 2010 followed by a Canadian tour.
